What Friday 13th Really Means (It’s Not What You Think)

Friday 13th…

The day of superstition, bad luck, dread and fear…?

Wrong my Wildling.

For centuries, (before Patriarchy) Friday the 13th was the day of the goddesses. ✨

It was the day to recognise and celebrate the divine feminine.

The cycles of endings and beginnings. Death and birth that the feminine inherently represents.💛

In essence, it was a day to celebrate the feminine aspects and souls always present in our lives.

It was a day to honor our ability to create + sustain life.. creativity + beauty, wisdom + nourishment.

The Number 13 also holds an extremely strong feminine energy and is considered to be the number of death and rebirth, creation, fertility and blood.

Why? Because us women have 13 Moon cycles every year and the average female also experiences 13 moon cycles a year

Each day is what we make of it, the 13th or not.

While we could tiptoe around on Friday the 13th expecting the worst because of superstitions with no foundation in truth.

We only fear what we don’t understand.

So, let’s stand in awe of the Wild Woman, there’s a wild woman in all of us who cries to be set free 🔥

We are sacred creatures set on this earth for a unique purpose.

It’s time to celebrate this .💛

Whether you identify yourself as feminine or masculine, your beauty is to be honored.

Are you with me?! 😘💛

Love and light to you,

Amy xo
